Dental Fillings

When a part of your tooth’s structure is missing (due to a cavity or a chipped tooth), dental fillings are required to help restore the tooth’s structure and function. There are options for the type of filling you choose, including composite, inlays, and onlays.

Note: We are an amalgam-free office. Talk with Dr. Tracey Mulhall about any concerns you have about amalgam fillings.

Dr. Tracey Mulhall will take a number of considerations into account, including tooth size, tooth location, and your medical and dental history before recommending a particular type of filling.

Be a partner in the decision by talking with Dr. Tracey Mulhall about any concerns you have about the dental restorative material being used in your mouth.
